Pacemaker

A Pacemaker is an implanted device that uses electrical impulses, delivered by electrodes contacting the heart muscles, to regulate the beating of the heart. In some cases, it may be beneficial to use Cardiac resynchronisation therapy, which treats heart failure with an implantable device similar to a Pacemaker. This device uses tiny electrical pulses to both ventricles (lower chambers) of the heart to make them beat together again in a more synchronised pattern.
